just signed freddy on a free at end of 2011. Initially as cover for the left behind reyes in pecking order. he has decent stats but not outstanding but hey he was free and couple of my fm friends swear by the lad!!! anyone any thoughts on what to expect?

Adu has been great for me in a couple of seasons with West Brom. Very reliable, gets tons of assists where I play him. He seems to be called up for the USA every other day though; it feels like he's always out on international stuff.

FM have regarding this player as a world class talent since the age of 14!...however as typical americans do, they hype up things way too much! at the end of the day, if he really was as good as they say he was then big teams would have got him, man utd for certain...i think his stats are more releastic now and he still is a good talent, just not as good as he used to be...look at the database to see his PA if you want.

It depends which Adu you got in your game. He has a Potential Ability which is generated in a range randomly everytime you start a game. (If you want to find out the values check the good players guide or the editor).

If he's at the top end of that range he can be very good in the Premiership, at the bottom of the range he'll be average.
