has any1 caught or even passed their parent club?
i'm harrogate and have just got into the championship(2011/12) the same div as my parent club leeds.the link between the clubs was instantly severed.
is their a chance of me getting a prem team as a parent club now i'm in the championship

I announced a link with Blackburn, in the prem, while I was Nottingham Forest in League 1.
Two seasons later I was in the Prem and they were in the Championship

i almost did that cause leeds finished 19th last year

This must be a bug.

The link is automatically cancelled when the clubs are in the same division, but i guess in this case they were relegated in the same season that you were promoted, so you were never in the same league.

I dont believe it is the same league. Barnsley was a Feeder club for me (man utd) and they got promoted, but the link wasnt cancelled.
