The team talks are so annoying, sometimes I press spacebar by accident and it counts as "none". In fact I want to say something, but because there's no confirm option, all my players are now "slt" and annoyed.

This has happened to me multiple times. If there is a need to confirm tactics and subs there should be an option to confirm team talks as well.

team talks come into effect when you press resume match, regardless of tactical change confirmations. i dunno what happened in your case, but i always used to check after matches when i first started wether or not team talks counted. the cornfirm button for teamtalks shouldn't have been taken out, simply to avoid confusion and your situation.

Me too! Instead couldnt they just re-programme slightly and make it so when you press the space bar its the same as pressing continue at the top of the screen. Easy and convinient!

It happens in post-match teamtalks, if you press spacebar it continues and gives you no chance to give a teamtalk.

What makes you hate confirmation buttons? If teamtalks didn't have such a large effect on the game itself I wouldn't mind. They're a crucial element to the game though, therefore they should have a confirmation button.

On second thoughts, something that may appease everyone... Only have a confirmation button if the teamtalk was set as "none".

Personal preference, really. I tend to be a power-user, so don't want to get asked about any action which I take frequently.
"Continue"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes I'm sure!!!"

I've suffered from repetitive stress injuries in both wrists for the last 10+ years; hazard of my profession and hobby - so the fewer mouse-clicks my favorite applications require, the more I like them. If the answer to "Are you sure?" is going to be "Yes" 99% of the time or more, I don't want it to ask me.

That said, I do want a confirmation on infrequent, irrevocable actions with the potential for severe negative user-impact:
- "Are you sure you want to delete your save game?"
- "Are you sure you want to release your star striker on a free?"
- "Are you sure you want to give the board an ultimatum?"

So, I'd be quite happy with a compromise like:
Are you sure you don't want to give a team-talk?
if you accidentally continue without setting one.
