ive noticed that often players come up as interested in joining my club but whe i maee a bid for them they have changed their mind in the short time it takes toget the bid accepted. i can understand it happening every now and again but it has happened to me a bit too much and is getting annoying. is this a bug or the way it is meant to be?
Maybe it is because of the AI teams' ability to frequently alter a player's squad status, seemingly without any consequence to the player's long term happiness. A player can be transfer listed, upset and wanting out, then, suddenly, a few days later he is part of the team again and couldn't dream of leaving.
I had something like this happen. I had this brazilian CB on my shortlist and got the usual media article saying I was rumoured to be after him and I said I was having look at him. So he then said in the media if he had the chance to move to my club he would take it in an instant and then I offer him a contract and he turns it down because he doesnt want to leave the club (it was on his favourite club box thingy). Surely he should have said that to the media rather than wasting my time the annoying ****, still i eventually ended up with Cahais for 600k so I cant really complain.
