hey guys
i dont no if this is a rumour or not, but is it true after player fm 08 for a certain amount of years (game time) you have a son play called fred?
if this is true, how long do you have to play for?

It is deffently possible to have a son.

As for it being called Fred, thats a complete farce.

And i do beleive its completely random as to whether you have a son in the game and when he will appear.

Just as with everything else in FM, it happens randomly, and the kid's name isn't always Fred.

I've been playing since FM05 and never had it happen but two mates of mine on a network game had it happen in season two of FM07.

He's probably thinking of the term "Fred" that everyone seems to like using when referring to the grey players.

Does it depend on your age in the game as well?

So basically you need to be in your 40s-50s before you can see your son playing in the youth league?

As for the OP. I hate this feature. Probably because i get through more season on FM than most people, (Thats complete guess work, but in FM07 i did over 100 seasons combined), and I never got a son.
