I've got a couple of important lads on my Division 2 Millwall side on a suspension if booked in my next league match. My next game is a 6th round FA Cup replay against Bolton.

Would they miss the FA Cup replay if booked in the League?

I think so yes. A domestic ban would cover leagues games and/or cup games.
Please correct me anyone if I'm mis-informed!

Just select them to use easy tackling next game in player instructions and they 'should' get through the game without a booking unless they are unprofessional, or dirty.

Ones an animal and gets booked every game regardless of tackling so have to rest him. Very influential in getting me a draw in the first cup game.

I try not to worry about bookings. Just concentrate on your next game. If you "rest" your animal, then you might end up losing both games and regretting it.

If your next game is the FA cup match where is the problem? There isn't a league game in which they could get booked?

The ludicrous amount of yellow cards given to midfielders means that I often have several players facing a one-game suspension once the season is a few weeks old.

You just have to ignore it and hope for the best.
