Default Can you run without match engine

Hi

Can anyone tell me if you can run FM 2008 without running the match engine, As per my earlier post my laptop keeps cutting out when the games play.

Is it possible to bypass the match engine??

Thanks

You can go on holiday on the day of the match, setting your return date to the next day, although, this will mean you have no control over changes made throughout the game.

Rather like earlier, "Mediocre" Management games.
Read: "Premier manager" etc.
