I'd like to begin by saying... if you don't agree to this post, don't post a reply.

I'd like to express my disgust once again about the super keeper/shot to goals ration bug.

This IS a bug and SI need to take a serious look at themselves as game developers.

Is it acceptable that no matter how much I change my tactics, I can still lose 10 games a season 1-0 after dominating the possession and having 10 shots on target? is it acceptable that my goalkeeper can let in a 60 yard shot and I lose 1-0 after having 11 shots on target (I am not joking).

Think about it this way, would you play a shooter on xbox/playstyation/PC where you had to hit your enemy 10-15 times before he dies, but he only has to get you once from the other side of the room? would you find it acceptable if you were playing a racing game and you had a ferrari but in the last 500 yds of the race, bill in his skoda overtook you and beat you in the last 5 yds? would you find it acceptable if you were in charge of an army of red berets, but you told them that they would win the war comfortably, only for an army of toddlery to take all of your men out with rattles?

SI, I ask you this... look at the amounnt of posts relating to this and do something about it... I'm watching spurs vs Arsenal, it's currently 4-1 to spurs, of which spurs have had about 7 shots and Arsenal 3, it didn't take Spurs 19 shots on target to score 4 goals...

SORT IT OUT!!!!

Maybe so. But it's ludicrous to tell people not to reply to a post because they simply diagree with it.

Stopped reading after this bit, you cant expect to have discussion if you only want to hear from people who agree with you.

PaulC replied about the shots/goals ratio in another thread and asked for people to upload their savegames or PKMs to the FTP server so that he and the testers could investigate. The silence that followed was near-deafening...
Or at least it would have been if the clod-brained morons moaning had actually bothered doing it, rather than simply resuming their whining.

And from what I was listening to, Arsenal had plenty of shots - most of them from poor chances - and Spurs had a few - mostly from good chances.

Post of the year for GQ and it's only January.

What a fantastically made point. A concise representation of the facts.

Thank you.

He has indeed replied, but you'd never notice.

First of all, please don't post spoilers about the match tonight, as some people want to avoid the score until they see the highlights.

Secondly, I'm not saying the game's realistic at all, but Arsenal actually had more possession than Tottenham did tonight.

And thirdly, what turnip said. SI have been asked for people to upload their games so that they can sort these issues out. I agree there's a few issues with the match engine (though I never experienced it as bad as you have).
