basically a club can buy a player off the club if they pay what the minimum fee release clasue is, if it is made, the club have to accept the offer

if say Gerrard had a minimum release clause of 30.5m, if you bidded 30.5m for him, it has to be accepted, so when i buy a player with a minimum fee relese clause, i make a deadline of tomorrow, so they must acc ept it practicly straight away.

| If your club makes an offer equal to (or greater than if you really want) the minimum fee release clause, then the team must allow you to speak with the player and offer them a contract.
This does not however mean that the player will necessarily sign for you. It just means the player has a right to hear what offer your club is making - and also that the club must accept this offer if the player agrees to join your club.
Make sense?

just look through the average spanish sides, or look for EU players playing in brazillian leagues (i.e. brazilian-italians). MFRC is a regulation in these leagues.

| Just because a player has a min fee release clause doesn't mean that you can't sign them for less. Some of the brazilians with min fees of 300k you can often get fo 50k.

I've noticed quite often that if a player signs a new contract, particularly if he is a transfer target, then a minimum release clause will be put in. so if you have a player on your shortlist, and there is a news item saying that player has signed a new contract, its always worth checking to see if there is a release clause.
sometimes when a player signs a new contract, even if there was a min release fee before, it may go down so again its worth looking, or worthing checking if its your own player before finalising the contract offer

true, i scout them first to find out the price range, but its usually rejected if i bid less thatn the min fee.
i saw a player with a 250K min fee, valued at £5.75M. i thought the value never went above the release fee?
