Can any1 tell me how to change the colours for player attributes? Thanks

Open the file called fm colours.xml in notepad located in the following folder:
\Football Manager 2006\data\skins\YOUR_SKIN_NAME\settings where YOUR_SKIN_NAME is the name of the skin your want to adjust the colours for, if the default skin (or if your skin doesn't have its own colours file) edit this one:
\Football Manager 2006\data\settings
(BACKUP THE FILE BEFORE EDITING)

Adjust these lines to change the colours:
<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre"> &lt;!-- profile attribute colours --&gt;&lt;colour name="low attribute" red="180" green="180" blue="0"/&gt;&lt;colour name="normal attribute" red="220" green="220" blue="0" /&gt;&lt;colour name="good attribute" red="255" green="204" blue="0" /&gt;&lt;colour name="excellent attribute" red="255" green="160" blue="0" /&gt;&lt;colour name="special attribute" red="255" green="160" blue="0" /&gt;&lt;colour name="attribute label" red="255" green="255" blue="255" /&gt;&lt;colour name="special attribute label" red="255" green="255" blue="255" /&gt;&lt;colour name="profile extra text" red="150" green="200" blue="255" /&gt;</pre>

After you have finished, save the file load up FM and turn the skin cache off in the preferences menu and restart FM.

I am trying to do the same thing, but it does not work.
I've turn off the skin cache, I've changed the colours of "fm colours.xml" in both data\settings folder and my skins setting folder, but nothing happens.

I even tried to delete the file in
"My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\cache\english"

What do I do wrong?

What do you mean with reload?
I just quit the game and restart.
Is that enough?
