i know people get annoyed by people asking questions like this but just a quick one. do tou have to use this winzip thing to unzip skin files? coz dont it cost money? just checking before i go and spend some money if there is another way!

no you dont have to buy it. Just type download winzip in google. You can download it for free, it doesn't cost. It cost's to upgrade the version you download, but you do not need to.

There are a load of free open-source programs that will unzip things.

In fact XP will unzip .zip files itself without needing external software.

However, my current favourite for compressed files is 7-zip. It does just about everything from .zip to .rar, it's free and can be downloaded here
