Ok theres no direct place to put this so here is the best bet lol...

I have taken it upon myself to create an English ONLY media file with a more realistic commentary...

I will start out by sayin there is NO rude language in it

Hopefully I will get a new version out every month..

If you want to download it here is the details.. BUT remember it ONLY contains English language..

Heres the link.. VERSION 2 (May 2006) !!!
English Only Media File

Instructions!
SAVE your current game FIRST!!!
Unzip the file to your desktop..
Then locate where the current media.cfg file is
C:/Program Files/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2006/Data/Match Events
RENAME your existing media.cfg file to mediaOLD.cfg
Drop the new media.cfg file into that directory...
Close window..
start up FM and load your old game..

NOTE: Its ONLY in ENGLISH so if you are using other languages do NOT use this new file as I have DELETED all other languages!!!

If you can think of some commentary you want to see in version 3 and later please let me know!!

Ooooo long shot wide.. Was more like a Sunday league player shooting!!
Team <t1> are getting hammered. The <t2> fans are shouting "Easy Easy Easy"
<t1> have had so many chances to score.. Its like the old saying.. if you dont suceed try try again..
<t1> are cruising to victory its like Easy Cruise out there!!
<p1> has taken a knock.. Awww on comes the magic sponge!!

Hi just want to say thanks for this its a lot more intresting reading. after a while you can predict what the old match commentry was going to say so this makes it nice and fresh.

Well done mate but its just not my cup of tea, its pretty funny at times like but gets pretty repetitive and i find lots of comments dont really fit in very well.

Although I enjoyed it, the repititveness of some comments got to me after a few days.

Well if you can point out what you think is in teh wrong place OR add some thoughts of what youd like the comms to say I'll add them to the next version and it should be released by the end of May..

How can i edit it myself? There's a couple of cases where "//"'s and %20%'s have appeared.

Make a copy of the file..
open it in Notepad and edit as you would.. then close n save..

If you find the lines can you let me know which ones they are as well please

A new version has been released a few spelling errors corrected and lots mroe added!!
