Whilst this is of course extremely dissapointing to see it's just one of those things that happens. I created 4 backups of the database to be extremely sure that I had everything we would need when we were sorting out the server. Unfortunately on all 4 occasions the backup did not reach the end of the database. The mathematicians amongst you can work out the chances of that happening, the rest of us will settle for "ah... ****."

I'm sending out a rallying call to anyone that has any FM/EHM/OOTP files sitting around on their PC/MAC/Pendrive/iPod/CD/DVD's to use the upload form and upload them back onto the site (please use the correct author!) so that we can build up the site once again.

Premium Members - I'm sure you know the drill by now! Please PM me with your username and any additional info you can give. I'll do the rest.

Although it's really dissapointing to see the site in such a state at least we can come out of this stronger. The forums are now upgraded to the latest version of Invision Power Board. This has been paid for by Premium Members, so once again we should extend a very large thank-you to them for financially supporting the site.

Our server hosts and I have also been working behind the scenes to make this server far more stable, and after the downtime of the last few days I think we are just about there.

Although we're not in the state we all hoped we'd be in, I want to thank all the staff for all the help they've provided me whilst I tried to get the site back online. It's been stressful and knackering and I hope that you appreciate we really have tried our hardest to get the place back online again.
