All that happened when i smudged my renders was it made the background look like it had lighter bits, nothing like yours, also i dont understand how you get the lines coming from your render, the motion blur does nothing :S please help

those lines are from the c4d's i used. you can find some on deviant art i think, or, ill up some c4d's some time for you all. also, if the smudging goes too light, change the settings in the brush panel  | |
