Hello
In the" post it" tutorial that the guru wrote,is it possible to make the text
have the same contour as the post it you create, like a flag and text simulating the same wave pattern. Also where is (turn off path ) button, couldnt find it, am using ps 6.0 .
thanks[excited]
Pakmn, what I did in this example was
a) give the type a "slight" bottom curve using the "create warp text" tool.
b) rotate it ever so slightly
b) then played with the "skew" a bit
c) then adjusted the horizontal/vertical a just a bit in the "create warp text" tool.
It takes a little experimentation, but in the end, the type is still editable.
If you have "type" filling the whole post-it note, only the type at the bottom of the note would be "slightly" distorted to match the curve of the paper.
As for the other part of your question, I don't have version 6 so I will let someone else help you there.
1) Press Ctrl/Cmd+H -- the same thing you do to HIDE a selection marquee.
This method is only useful if you have no active selection going at the same time, or if you don't create a selection at all. A good 'quick method', but limited.
2) Choose the PEN tool from the toolbar. Look to the top-right side of the Options Bar for the Pen tool, and you'll see a "checkmark" image. Click that. It's like telling Photoshop that, "yes, i am done with this path for the moment, go ahead and save it for me.". Once saved, it's visiblility is hidden until you open the Path palette and click on the path again to re-activate it, for editing/filling/stroking.
