FM Weegie Update - 18th August 2006

We have decided to release our friday edition of our updates, here at SI Forums. The Weegie update is worked on almost 24/7. Every world transfer gets included & we have the most comprehensive european & international updates including the following:

All promotions/relegations in almost all leagues done (contact us for one's not done with the details)
All World transfers
Injuries updated
New players & staff added to the database
Staff/board transfers added
Referees altered
Retirements updated
Future transfers included
Finances/Loans altered
Transfer budgets & reputation altered
Bans updated
European co-efficients set for 06/07 season
European entrants set for 06/07 season
Stadium changes (e.g. Hearts at murrayfield in europe)
Competition histories altered
Serbia & Montenegro split (798 montenegrins now in the database)
Many player stat adjustments
Some players international caps & goals updated

The update is released every day at approximately 6pm over at FM Weegie forums:

We recently moved there as it enables us to have our own space for people to post new transfers or injuries etc.

If you wish to help with the update & post new information, or to download the daily edition, please register at our forums.

We will release updates every Friday until a final summer transfer window update has completed, here at SI Forums.

p.s. No other update comes close!

well that does it, it ain't flippin workin for me, still the original teams in leagues and players, i don't get it i have done everything people have said but it still will not play? any advice?

extract the file to:

EProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data

using WinRar.

Do not simply download the file to that location.

Then when you start a new game, it will work.

where E of course should be your drive, which is usually C

that is eactly what i have done but the changes havn't taken place i have tried several times now

Steven, Brilliant update :thup:

Even got Kuyt at Liverpool and i thought that it'd be missed

Only small change (being a Toffee), You have Andrew Fowler defaulted to Evertons 1st team and James Vaughan in the reserves. I'd recommend swapping them as Davie Moyes has stated Vaughan is part of his first team plans

The AI decides which way round the players go, but I will adjust the stats so Vaughan > Fowler.

oh and Mikel Arteta plays Right sided midfield (surprisingly well) and played many a game for Everton there last season :thup:

it looks like Anichebe might be a surprise this year but in terms of rating
