I have created a world superleague using the ingame editor. But upon game setup the game keeps crashing. What have I done wrong:

- I created a superleague using the swap teams function in the official editor
- I used teams from all over the world
- I used the english Premiership to Conference national and erased all history of those competitions
- I unchecked 'nation' 'continent' on the competition details tab
- I edited competition reputation
- I created a new team (+ stadium) and placed it in the national conference gave myself a modest budget but max training facilities, youth setup
- I upped the youth academy/youth setup stats from a lot of clubs from minor countries in order to prevent all top players coming out of italy, spain, england, france,...
- I changed the names of the competitions
- I created new players and put them in my newly created team
- I disabled the european competition by changing the TLA in the continent tab from EUR to OCE
- I took care of the work permit issues by making a lot of countries all over the world member of the ECC

game setup details:
- English premiership to national conference, league detail normal, player database huge, disable attribute masking, no additional nations selected.

The game crashes about 3 minutes after starting the setup process.

I have already reinstalled the game, but it happens again.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Do a search for the Super League Creator tool that was kicking around a couple of months ago, should do the trick for you

That's what I did before I made this league.

No-one had the slightest idea?

What I could is: reinstall the game and edit every part of the database individually and then check out what part doesn't work. But my spare time is limited.

A league needs to have a nation... So that is why it is crashing.

Then why does the editor give you the option to untick the box?

You need to swap the teams around while their is a nation on the leagues, in other words you will have to start again

Well, I did start again... took me about a whole day, but still that damn error message. I did not touch the country or continent boxes on the details tab, swapping the teams was the last thing I did.

hey im not a genius but is it possibly becoz u have deleted the history of every competition. Its ok to do that but u need 2 add in the last season so that there are teams to play community shield etc.! hope i helped

Sorry to be late replying
There are many reasons why the game should crash - you have to be careful all along the line.

These are my suggestions:
1. Start again
2. Test it as you do each country - make sure it goes to the next season to check for later crashes - using Finland with a 2006 start will help this - it also let's you know early if there are any problems
3. Every time it runs without crashing back it up and then move on to the next lot.
4. Some teams (particularly in the Spanish Second leagues) just wont take being moved about.
5.Watch out if teams have second leagues or relegation leagues that are incompatible with your Super League.
6. Be patient - take it slowly so that if it crashes you know what you did that crashed it.
