I think thats one of the reasons why i don't use Weegies plus they use the 01 data. Why don't they use the 03 data? At the moment im using FME update.

I have decided just to updaste the editor each day from the transfers listed on www.footballtransfers.net". It's a pain in the arse but managable if done daiy.

I found FM finland quite good although some of the attendances were a bit odd. Arsenal were getting crowds of 20,0000.

Last days Ive been working very hard on adjusting stats, try todays download to see if you think things are improved.
Not touching player abilities would be foolish, as the original data is too old and players have evolved. The aim to set their attributes as realistically as possible, which can't be done when we would have left the stats as they were.

I agree with you to an extent, but it’s the people doing the updating that worries me. How many of you are working on the data? SI use a team of researchers from around the globe to get a fair and impartial opinion but when I looked on the last update it looked anything but impartial.

There were far too many players on abilities of 190 or over and a huge gap between others. The Newcastle data was shockingly inaccurate with some players being dramatically reduced and others being given god like status.

Neil - I did the newcastle players, i tried to make it accurate as possible like reducing players like Dyer, Luque, Bramble e.t.c & improving players such as N'Zogbia & Taylor,

There are not "too many" players over 190 ca.

and the newcastle data was done by A newcastle fan so cannot be far off the mark.

You may have a point there, but a lot of people complained about too less difference between players all around. The stars didn't come out. Although I can't wash the overall problem away in the time I've got, I don't think it is really a problem. A lot of players are adjusted. Obviously we are better able to judge the better players in a better way.

The original data is made by people as well. (surprise, surprise) They may have a lot more experiences and got comments and advice from SI. However, even in the original database were clear inaccuricies. Simply because the world of football evolves at a very fast rate and because they can´t watch EVERYONE closely. Mostly, they are just football fans like us and they let other people work for them as well. With this update we try to reach closer to how this world is at this point. As we are humans, there are mistakes in it. As we are humans, other people can differ on our judgement. We do our best to make the game more realistically and up to date for ourselves and for other people who want to play with new transfers. We listen to comments made and if possible and useful work on it.

In general, we are satisfied with our efforst and think this is a update people can enjoy. We aim to have a very good update at the 1st of september for everyone. It is up to you whether you think it enhances your game and to download it. We just try our best.
