**!!UNBELIEVEABLE!!** Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano moving to West Ham Utd on a year's loan!! More info in thread...
Apparently you've read it right!
Carlos Tevez has let slip on his website that both himself and his Corinthians teammate, Javier Mascherano, are to join West Ham Utd this season. When I first read about this story, I thought this was either typical Fleet Street hyperbole, or just a nonsense story...
But a little background checking suggests that this might actually be true!
First up, I checked to make sure the website that spilled the information was Carols Tevez's own site - it looked polished enough, and had an obvious history. Wikipedia sorted out the problem with him being called "Carlos" and "Carlitos" Tevez - apparently that's his ( nickname (info on WikiPedia).
After a quick Babefish translation, it turns out that Tevez is currently having troubles at Corinthians...I've copied the translation below for you, please ignore the laughable language:

OK...so there might be a story here, or just a West Ham fan with a little coding ability and some time to hack his personal website. But, judging on reports on an unofficial website that links to various sports newscasters around the world (FOX Sports, BBC Sports, Reuters etc etc) Tevez walked out of Corinthians 11 days or so ago, citing that the coach has "disrespected" him; Javier Mascherano has skipped training for a week according to ESPNsoccernet .
And to round off this amazing story, it seems that West Ham was involved in a takeover attempt by a London-based company called MSI (Media Sports Investment)...the same company which a controlling interest in Corinthians (FOX Sports via the Associated Press). Apparently they own both players' contracts...
And, I've just noticed, Emerson Leao, the Corinthians' coach, has stripped Tevez of his club captaincy, and signed AC Milan veteran Brazilian striker Amoroso as a replacement yesterday.
Guess which team the vast vast majority of FM players will be starting a new game with tomorrow morning lol!
If you liked this story, please let me know?
