I apologise in advance if there's already such a thread.

I'm Spurs in season 4, and WHL has been something of a fortress this season. But in recent 2 games, WBA and Villa have come and employed 4-5-1. Villa held out for a nil-nil draw, while WBA even got a win due to a controversial(at least to me) penalty!

I play 4-2-2-2 at home:
GK: Gordon
DL: Bale
DR: Mark Wilson
DC: Kompany
DC: Dawson
MC: Gago
MC: Makoun
AML: Guardado
AMR: Lennon
ST: Berbatov and Aguero

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

First I would drop the extra two players they probably get in the way

You could play 3-5-2

It really depends on who you are playing and what players they have.

I Play a 3-5-2 formation with AC Milan and always get good results against teams that play 4-5-1

my team's ratings are ok, all 7s and dominate the game, but are unable to finish off defensive teams. When I put take off 1 defender(leaving 3) and put on an extra striker, I end up concede late goals. So I generally stick to the same tactics(4-2-2-2) and pray Aguero and Berbatov can conjure up some magic...
