As the header says I give up on FM07. Why you might ask? Bevause I've been playing this game since the day it was released in Denmark (can't remember the date) and since that day I've been struglling to find a formation/tactic that works in this game. I've allways managed to do pretty well in the previous versions of FM and CM when I created a tactic and tweaked it.
But in this release there is nothing to do. I'm managing to win a couple of games and then going back to a loosing streak, then I adjust and win a couple more, but just a few wins and the loosing streak continues. I'm tired and bored of this! I've been trying to create a tactic for the big teams (Chelsea, Real Madrid, FC Bayern etc.), the medium clubs (Leeds, Mallorca, Palermo ) and the lower league (Worksop, FC Roskilde) and nothing works.
I've even tried downloading some of the tactics in here but that didn't work either.
I think that it's an unrealistic game and it's been too difficult to play, so all future games for me is with FM06.
Perhaps I'm just a cry baby and gives up to easy. I don't know but at this moment I've had it with FM07. Maybe I'll see you in the FM07 world later when I'm up for the challenge again, so until then, see you.
That's it from me. I got rid of my frustration so now I'm able to sleep well tonight without having nightmares about FM07.

If you try to create a tactic and play with it until you feel the AI has "cracked" it, then you won't find success.
If you still want to play the game, read the Bible in the sticky threads and consider having different approaches for different situations. On the basic level, have a home and away tactic, and get more complicated when/if the need arises.
There are plenty of good threads with downloadable tactics, tactic guides and the dos and do nots of managing in the game. If you want to learn, that is. Good luck!
