Hi everyone,

I am look for with my Athletico Madrid game. I am currently going though a very rough time drawing ALOT of games and having trouble scoring.

The problem is, when my team get forward they just seem to stop on the edge of the box and pass to each other without acctually getting into the oppositions box. If someone does suddenly break into the box no one passes to him and then he strays offside.

I am playing a 4-4-2 with short slow passing, my width is normal.

My current team is:
GK - Leo Franco
DR - Juan Valera
DL - Antonio Lopez
DC - Breno
DC - Pablo
MR - Maix Rodriguez / Simao
ML - Jose Antoni Reyes / Helder Barbosa
MC - Thiago Motta
MC - Raul Garcia / Georginio Wijnaldum
FC - Sergio Aguero
FC - Diego Forlan

I am nearing the end of the season so i will be looking to try a establish this tactic next season and finish tweeking this season.

I will be strengthening my team at the end of the season with:
Sunny / DM / Valencia
Javi Martinez / MC / Athletico Bilbao
Ezequiel Garay / DC / Racing

Any ifo on team / player instructions and maybe even pitch sizes will be very helpfull.

Dont buy Garay, he is a CB good at everything but defending.

i recommend bringing in martinez he is a amazing player for his age also if u got the cash sign david suazo from inter milan he is sooooo good also play 4-1-2-1-2 it works well in spain

Wont that leave me a bit short in defence? or shall i lower the mentality of the players making forward runs?

With the 4-1-2-1-2, is that with 2 CM or with a MR & ML

what i've done with my athletico save is drop aguero to an am role with farrow and employ him as a playmaker. then i moved the two outside mids to wingers with arrows to the box. aguero then recieves the ball and looks to play it through to the wingers bombing into the box. your fullbacks then provide the width. i also leave aguero's mentality a little less than the wingers and striker. as for buys i got nociero from juve when they gave me 16 million plus him for maxi which was fine because you still have simao for the right wing. also brought in bodmer for cm as board accepted a bid of 35 million for raul garcia from inter then the next year brought in sunny. also look into barragan at rb he's been doing the business for me.
