How the hell do you get the best out of this guy? He's got 5 goals in 6 games for his country, with a 7.83 rating, so I know he's not terrible, but... 15 starts, 7 sub appearances, 4 goals, 6.59 rating for Chelsea. And 2 of the 4 goals are against Beita Jerusalem in the Champions League, and another was a penalty, so they don't really count.

The guy can't play with Drogba or Pandev up front, nor by himself. I actually like Shevchenko, so I want to get the best of him somehow!

Play him more and keep faith.

I find alot of peopel who have trouble with this game rotate far too much...whether they're Liverpool fans or just dont realise that players need pitch time to build confidence and get going.

If they r not doing too well liek Sheva for you...the more the better...keep faith and he'll come through eventually.

The golden rule:
If somebody has a bad game don't take him out for next week, Start him next week! He needs to get his confidence back.

Thats no golden rule. Maybe he had a bad game due to complacency, in which case you should bench him.
