Zarate, Stancu and Doyle will constitute a very good attack. Keep him and sell 2 of Lita, Long & Kitson.

As someone who always plays Reading, I've found that if you wait until season 2 or 3 you can make between 15-20 million on Kevin Doyle, and you can be guaranteed that he WILL be your top scorer in season one. Leroy Lita is great too, but suffers a little from stamina issues in S1. You're also better off keeping Shane Long for afew seasons, as he'll become more valuable as he gets older, he'll score quite a few for you if you use him right and he's potentially pretty good.


If you're going to sell one of your big players in season 1, I personally think Nicky Shorey can be the player to make way- you can get £8m for him if Portsmouth are up for it, which they usually are when I play this game.

(I signed Darjo Srna as a replacement as he's a strong utility man for the back and middle of the pitch; he can play either side at Fullback, Side Midfield or Wingback.)


Kitson is good, but I would suggest that if you want to get rid of someone, get rid of him- as he's the weakest in all the key areas.

I'm actually right now starting Season 2 in my game and sold Doyle for £15.5 million, so I'm away to find a replacement.

I've played him on my liverpool team he scores almost as much as Torres does

if u really want to sell him u can get more than 8m in my game i've seen Portsmouth and Newcastle buy him for 12m+
