Players wanting new challenge
I have played as Liverpool twice now, at the end of the 1st season Xabi Alonso 'wants new challenge' on both games. How can I stop this. (He doesnt want to sign a new contract)?
Thanks for any help.

I dont want to sell him though.
I think ill have to wait for the season to start and then praise him, I didnt think of that thanks.
I even tried bringing in staff he liked, but he didnt recommend any.

Well if he's got such a long contract then dont worry about it. Just keep playing him as their happiness doesnt seem to affect their on-field performances in the game. Once you've won a trophy or two, he'll be happy again. Keep praising him in between as well.

Sell him with a buy-back clause of the same value as the sale value and get him back 6 months later

Ask him to recommend a player or a coach.
