At the start of the first season, what can I expect to sign him for? A mate said £5m and I think he was managing Liverpool, so I thought it'd have been a bit more than that.

Bare minimum of 8.5M + sell-on clause. Lowest I've seen him go for, anyhow.

LOL i dont know was i lucky but in my Marseille game i bought him for,12 m euros which is around of 8,9 pounds...

Think 12m€ is around £8m.

The longer into the game, the more he probably will cost due to his ability being higher. It seems a lot of players are more expensive after just the first season compared to the start.
