Does Gareth Bale have the potential to be a quality left back.

I would buy A.traore or G. Clichy, but as rivals to arsenal I cant afford them.

So my question, does Bale turn out good enough to break into a premiership winning side in the future?

He's great on the offensive end but I dont think his defensive stats develop that good. Get Chiellini from Juventus. You might be able to get a good price for him and he's terrific.

ok thanks, I might look for a better defensive left back then. Unfortunately Barcelona agree with you and snapped up Chiellini straight away.

Its not cheap but I dont think its ridiculously high either. Nobody minds shelling out that much for someone like Daniel Alves. I think Cheillini is every bit as good as Alves in his own position. He's young too so I'd definitely pay it to get him if you cant get Clichy or Traore for cheaper.

Another option is Phillip Lahm. He's a great player too and if you get him for less than 30M, then pick him up.
