I'm playing as Man Utd, and at the end of season 1, where I won the Prem and European Cup, Barcelona have made a bid for Patrice Evra - my first-choice left-back.

The offer seems too good to turn down:

- £16million over 24 months (I'll try and get it down to 6 months).
- plus Giovanni Dos Santos

Like I said, although Evra is a first-team player for me, the offer seems fantastic, so should I sell?

Also, if I do sell, which left-back should I look to bring in as a replacement?

Sell, Buy Armand Traore, Emiliano Insua or if you don't want the fans to revolt Taye Taiwo.

I'd take it and get either Chiellini or Clichy in as replacement. Clichy might not be possible as Arsenal would not want to sell him to you.

But 99% that deal wont go through anyway as Dos Santos will not want to discuss terms with you. But if he does, then great for you.

Thanks. I'll accept the offer and try and get a deal done if possible. The LB's mentioned sound very decent, but Clichy will probably be difficult to get...I'll see... :cool:

I'll post later regarding whether it was a success or not!

Sell. Then buy Marcelo. I got him for his release clasue (£5.5million)

Dos Santos wouldn't enter negotiations with me, so I ended up selling Evra to AC Milan for £15million up-front, and £12million over 6 months.

I still haven't signed a replacement yet, but I've only just started pre-season, so plenty of time!
