Which players are the really cheap bargains? And I don't mean "Bojan for free", since very few of us can actually sign him.

I mean the really low price and low wage finds that will still perform.

For example, everyone knows Piatti is a good find and you can get him for 275k €. But if you're really strapped for cash, Buonanotte plays the same position with pretty much the same results, and you can get him for 90k with lower wages.

There is a Romanian DL called Sepsi that I usually get for some 25k. He is is a super solid guy and my assistants tell me he is a quality player.

Albin Ekdahl plays MC and is brought over on a free and plays for a tiny wage of 3,5k per week. He is usually my backup during first season and blossoms in second.

Two DC's that I usually sign for peanuts (transfer and wages) are Sabic and Andronic. They are both solid central defenders and leaves money in your budget.

My experience from signing these players are post patch. Now let me know yours.

Hauxi

Rok Kronaveter AM/FC from Slovenia, can play as AMC and ST. Can be bought for around 200k. He's got 15+ for jumping, pace, acceleration, composure, long shots, finishing, technique, dribbling.

Seth Johnson free.
Rene Mihelic 300k
Arthur Sorin 30k
Kaimar Saag (random attributes) 20k
Raymond Kalla free

Saag is 18-19 and is a ST. Plays for Levidia
( estonian). Check out the puri brothers there too and nikita andrev (sp).

Seth Johnson is the former Leeds and Derby midfielder, has got 1 game for England.

Raymond Kalla is a DC, 32 years old but has still got at least 2 good years left in him.

And yes, Sorin is the right-back from Kalmar, is playing very well for me in League One.

One player not many people mention is Dimitar Makriev.

He is absolute class for a budget target man only costs 200k, will probably take wages of around 1.5k a week depending on your team.

He has stats of 16 for dribbling + jumping and 17+ for finishing, first touch, heading, long shots, anticipation, and composure (19), free kicks (20),strength, stamina, every mental stat is at least 11 most around 14 or so.

Just pair him with a fast speedy striker like Stancu and your set.

I would like to second Arthur Sorin, class RB bought for first season in january for championship for 10k and has been first choice for the three seasons I have had him and I now play as a ueffa cup level team.

I tried signing a few of your suggestions yesterday. Here is what I found out:

Saag barely makes my team. I wonder if he takes time to adapt or something, but I am so far unimpressed. And I play in the Swedish league, so the competition is not very tough.

Sorin seems to become much more expensive than you have reported. I wonder if that is because I try and sign him to another team in the same league?

Kalla looks good, not great. It is hard to find good DC's in the lower price range, but I like what I've seen of him so far.

Makriev seems interesting too. I will try scouting/signing him later. Thanks to all for contributing.

No one mentioned Torje?
I'm not sure if he would sign for lower than Prem but he is cheapish (350k) when you consider how good he is.
