Default What now?

I've just finshed my second season as Man City and have won the treble. At this stage let me just say this is the best i've done on any FM game for years and it wasn't even with a "MAJOR" team. Whilst i've obviously had decent money to spend ive had to transform a half decent squad into a now dominating european force. I will most probably stay on with Man City unless an interesting job offer becomes available.

My treble winning squad is below and i'm sure i'll have a large transfer kitty available come July. Please give me any advice on how to sustain a team of champions, whether it be who to get rid of, who to buy, any staff worth hiring etc. Thanks very much in advance. Apologies for going off on one a bit but i'm literally over the moon at my achievement.

Keepers:

Ustari
Rubinho
Hart

Defenders:

Corluka
Onuoha
Samba
Richards
Ball
Garrido

Midfielders:

Cana
Johnson
Barnetta
Gasbarroni
Ireland
Fernandez
Petrov
Elano
Esposito

Strikers:

Stancu
Huntelaar
Bojinov

I have Fred joining for a ridiculously cheap £6.5m and have put Bojinov up for sale.

He was unhappy at end of 1st season so i sold him and brought in Huntelaar. I haven't missed him tbh. Stancu has been incredible and huntelaar has been great. At the end of season 2 Stancu has played 53 (3) and scored 44 and Huntelaar 36 (4) 21.

The squad looks really good mate. I suppose now your only aim should be to replace your decent/good players with great ones. You have just the right amount in your first team. Next step would be to sell one off and get a better one in his place. You're already doing that by selling Bojinov and getting Fred. You can do the same with your defence. Sell a CB and get in someone like Zapata, Djourou etc. Same with the midfielders. But key would be to sell one and replace him rather than just adding more and upsetting the balance of the team.

Thanks very much for your input mate. I've sold Michael Ball to Everton and have a few players in line as a replacement. The obvious choices such as Chiellini, Lahm and Maxwell aren't interested in joining me for some reason. I do have the likes of Bale, A.Traore, E.Insua and Clichy interested in joining but they all have huge price tags. I do have £51m to spend so I can afford to spend a decent amount on a LB. I'm also thinking of signing a young CB for the future as Richards and Corluka are unsettled every transfer window and it's only a matter of time before they stay unsettled and want out.

Man City are a great team IRL and I am not surprised they are good on FM

While I agree with that, they aren't exactly treble winning material yet are they? They still need working on.

That's great help.

I'd be signing a new LB like Traore or Insua or Clichy.
