I posted some questions and asked for a few opinions. Once i'd got some opinions.

I'd decided to buy Michael Johnson, Ashley Young, Henry, Oscar Ustari and Lulinha.

My first season is over. I came 4th in prem. Very close at the top only 2 points in it. However I won the Champions League.

I have Owen up front and was euro player of season (he's fantastic dont care what anyone says, and a steal at 14m).

My potential signing haven't worked, not one.

So my questions to you all are.

1 I could sign taylor from Newcastle, deal is all agreed. Is it worth it, I have gallas, senderos, micah richards and Djoruh.

2 How much would I have to pay roughly to get Gerrard, he wants to move. I have 52m?

3 I need another English player to get a nice domestic backbone, possibly from Michael Johnson, or Ashley Young? Which do you suggest.

4. Whichever position I don't strengthen with either of those players I need a good signing from europe. A player that will get the fans going a decent name. I.e. Pirlo, Simao... i dont know suggestions please.

5 Missed out on ustari he choes AC milan.
Hom much can i get Akinifeev, or somebody else in GK???

First, you shouldn't have sold Toure, big mistake. One of the best CBs.
Don't buy Taylor; he's good but you have Richards and Gallas, and Djourou becomes great. Sell Senderos, and if you really want a CB, sell Gallas too and buy Zapata.

Don't buy Gerrard. He's good too but you can get better for cheaper. What position do you need? If you need an AMC, buy M.Fernandez (will cost 10-18M). He can play ML too, and even MC.

Arsenal have enough MCs. Denilson and Fabregas in the centre are perfect. But if you really need to, go for M.Johnson.

Tell us which position is your weakest and how much you're willing to spend.

Akinfeev will cost 10-25M. Really depends on your save and if he wants a new challenge etc. There's Lloris and Ochoa for about 4-10M.

1. Depends on how much you're getting him for. If its about 10M, then yeah get him. He's pretty good and is English too. But I'd much rather have Zapata. Sell Senderos. He'll always be a liability as he's too slow. Will get had in the league. Djoruou becomes AWESOME. I'm grooming him to be my captain when Toure leaves/ gets too old. And btw, HUGEEEE mistake selling Kolo. You should have sold Gallas if anyone.

2. Gerrard would cost about 30-50M min. I'm thinking it'll be on the higher side as Liverpool are fierce rivals. Forget about him. If you want him for MC, then you have plenty in Denilson, Diaby & Fabregas. If you still want someone, get Joao Moutinho or Miguel Veloso. They'll cost a fraction of what Gerrard will, are younger and will perform about as good.

3. Again, you dont need either. If you want English, get Jose Baxter and groom him for the future. He becomes very good. You could get Young I suppose but he's only a decent/good winger. Nothing more. You could look to get Fabrice Muamba back from B'ham. He turns out into a good DM and he's English as well. But that depends on who you have as your other DM's.

4. Like teeyougee said, tell us where you're lacking a bit and we might be able to give you a better idea. If you do decide to get Gerrard, he'd definitely get the Arsenal fans buzzing. Barzagli has the same effect. Aguero even and he's simply phenomenol. Joaquin is generally unhappy at Valencia after season 1 so you could try him. He's an amazing right winger to boot. Just so many of them.

5. Akinfeev can be easily unsettled. You should be able to land him for around 15M or so. If you can get Frey, then nothing like it. He's a brilliant GK but will cost you. Anything upto 25M for him is a good deal. Lloris, Cavalieri, Agliardi are some others I've had at Arsenal and have all done very well.

1. I know. Toure is my god darn hero. I never play as arsenal as I hate getting rid of players. However this time I made myself get rid of any unhappy players or people. I got a good deal for him. Hope you can understand. I do feel ashamed.

Do you think I could rotate, Gallas, Richards both good and could cover Left and right respectively, Senderos and Taylor? As I want a few English players. Senderos has been a rock when played also. Djourou is really happy and for time being playing in reserves.???

2. I need a MC pretty even attributes not to defensive or attack or even better can do everything. Michael Johnson is ideal. I also need AMR and L for cover for Robin Van Persie and Theo Walcott. Thats why i said Gerrard as he could play MC and AMR quite well. I really want some good english players please bear that in mind with suggestions.

3. I sold denilson the board made me for 21m.
I'm currently playing 3 across the middle out of Fab, diaby, gilberto, flamini and Roman Riquelme, Would love to add an enlishman.

4. I am happy with squad overall, I could do with a stronger MC, AMR/L. Only other thing is I could do with more cover for DL (Attacking).

My budget is 52m for all these signings if you could suggest a good (Star name) player.

5. Lloris and Ochoa I will check out thanks.

1 Taylor i've got for 11m, I think I will. Then I can stop fannying on about english men.

2. I have forgotten gerrard then. Joao Moutinho or Miguel Veloso I will look at thanks.

3 Mumba i'm not keen on. Jose Baxter I have offered for but always failed. Silva and Flamini and richards have DM covered.

4 Please see above reply for positions needed.

5 Akinfeev I may go for I have 15m for a keeper.

Sorry for double post. What do you think of playing Micah Richards in MC??? He would make way for taylor in DC.

Dont play Richards at MC mate. He's an amazing CB. Play him there. I'd recommend:

GK: Akinfeev
LB: Clichy
RB: Eboue (Sagna is better if you still have him)
CB: Gallas/Djourou
CB: Richards/Taylor
DM: Gilberto
CM: Fabregas
CM: Diaby
LM: Eduardo
RM: RVP
ST: Owen

Thats from your current squad. RVP is awesome on either wing so dont need to worry about him. I'd look at getting maybe a LM instead of Eduardo. Menez, Guardado, Ben Arfa, Marcelo are just a few great ones. If you want one for the right, then like I said before, Joaquin is amazing. And he'll be a "big" signing as well for the fans. Else, Belluschi is phenomenol. Rosina is excellent too on the right wing. Quaresma & Ribery might just be "big" signings as well and might get the fans buzzing. While I'm not a huge fan of Quaresma, Ribery is simply awesome.

You wanted an allround CM to play with Fab & Gilberto. Diaby is perfect for that. Has good stats everywhere. And for some reason he works very well with Cesc. I'd recommend you hang on to him in that case.

If you want English, get Preston Edwards as your young GK. He'll cost very little and develop into a quality GK. You could try to make a cheeky enquiry for Carrick and see if Man Utd will let him go. Oh, and you could look at Stewart Downing for your left wing as well. He's a good winger. Also, sell off Eduardo and get either Dean Ashton or Andy Johnson in. They are both just as good strikers as Eduardo (maybe even better) and will also quench your need for more Englishmen. Maybe even Jermaine Defoe (he loves Arsenal). He becomes a fan favourite very quickly (bought him in one game when Ade got injured for a long time. First game of his was against (as luck would have it!) Spurs! Scored 2 and assisted 2. Became a fan-favourite since then! Lol).

I totally agree in selected squad other than Sagna he just cant touch Eboue at the moment. However Eboue is wanted by some clubs so I may flog him as I do have ample cover in Sagna, Hoyte and Richards. I see your point in Diaby he's never let me down. I may be getting caught up in transfers and spending money for the sake of it.

I haven't been impressed with eduardo either. My coaches always regard him as my best striker, this is only thing stopping me flogging him, this is why I drop him move over RVP and play Walcott.

I will check out your suggested 'Big' signings.

I already have preston edwards to join me next month for 85k!!! pleased with that.
Carrick, Johnson, Reo Cocker are all possibly english targets. I hate Downing in real life so couldn't buy him.

As for Defoe I want him but wooried fans might not like me going for a rival player. I'm surprised by what you said, but defo interested. I'll post with how I get on thanks for help mate.
