De Rossi - Roma
Cambiasso - Inter
Mascherano - Liverpool
Denilson - Arsenal
Gilberto - Arsenal (only for a couple years though)
Lucas - Liverpool
Veloso - Porto

De Rossi & Cambiasso are miles ahead though imo. Mascherano is great defensively (probably the best actually) but doesnt contribute much going forward.

roma have a few great dm's. Banega in a few seasons after the start???

My opinions. Also Gilberto Silva is great if treat right but only 2 seasons worth.

I agree with the previous suggestions. The best one however is Veloso (in my opinion).

He has everything. He can run, he can pass, he can tackle, he can score, he can cross. Everything is great about this player (and he is regularly the best player in La Liga). The ONLY down side is that he lacks natural fitness so don't have him on many forward runs or with long arrows in any particular direction.

This is a little left field but....

Hedi Maduro from Ajax.
He has been a revelation in my Milan side. In a season he has stabilized my midfield, and is a fave of many of my players now.

Not a 'big name' but a good un'!!!
