God damn he hit me hard now!
Including my youths who are kids picked up from the local police station, I have 53 players. 20 of them are out with injuries now. Almost half of that is the dreaded groin injury. They are in rehab so out for ages.
Only a few games left of the season so I should save promotion nevertheless, but this was scary.
Not all groin injuries, about 8 I guess, don't have the game open now as I'm on my way out the door.
Not been pushing them hard either. The same schedules I've had for the last two years.
Fortunetely for me half my first-team is still intact, well sort of anyway. Had to play to DCs that were coming back from injuries, just glad they didn't get injured again.
The only difference is I hired a fitness based coach about 6 months ago. He's basically pooh, but at least he's fitness based.
I always put the huge number of injuries down to my somewhat over-enthusiastic use of the 'Cross Country' option in training. Kinda like the Slim-Fast plan:
One for breakfast, one for lunch...
And something else for dinner.

Nor do you pay attention to Staff ratings apparently.

I generally do, but if i don't have many options to choose from, one might encounter physios with physiotherapy ratings <10 in my teams
