I thought it was a bug in the cm0304 version, nobody ever got promoted in China or Korea, but as it seems to be in FM2005 to...

Anybody knows wether it's IRL or just a bug?

I assume it's IRL on this occasion, as I'm on the 1st season in game and Kookmin ar showing as Holders on the League's screens

The K2 league is currently a closed league, with no promotion to the K-League and no relegation out of the league.

In fact, promotion will take place after season 2007. i.e. The winner of that season will go up to K-League as is planned in real life. Have fun.

Before the closing stage of the league started, there was the little matter of the FA Cup 1st Round. I got a home draw against a university side, drew 2-2 after 90 minutes, eventually prevailing 5-3 AET. Round 2 saw another university bring their students to Gimpo. We won 2-0, but it wasn't that comfortable.

With the top flight sides entering in Round 3, I was fortunate to draw another Uni side, again at home. An injury time goal saw us scrape through 3-2. The fourth round draw was less kind, sending us to K-League team Daegu. We will be playing in one of the stadia used in the 2002 World Cup, but we have the first 2 matches of the league's closing stage to worry about first. Zero points from those two, including an embarrassing 5-2 defeat against Sangmu B, makes a cup shock look very unlikely.

Disaster struck in the first minute as Daegu took the lead, then they doubled their advantage in the 5th. By the seventh, it was 3-0, and on 25 minutes it got worse with Daegu's 4th.

After the break it got worse, and at 5-0 we had a man sent off. We lost 6-0, and our season was reduced to a seven game battle to avoid the bottom spot.

A draw against Hummel suited neither team, and we were hit by another red card for the player sent off v Daegu. Another defeat was followed by an unexpected but welcome 5-1 victory over Suwon City.

With 4 games remaining we were 3 points adrift at the bottom of the overall table, and 7th in the Closing stage, 11 points off the leaders.

Incidentally, Opening Stage winners KR F.C were bottom of the Closing Stage at this time.

A 3-0 defeat against Kookmin Bank made winning the closing stage impossible, and saw two players suspended for accumulating bookings. A 4-0 defeat against KR F.C followed, and as the month drew to a close the board informed me they were pleased with my performance.

We lost the next match, and finished with our biggest win of the season, 5-0 over KHNP (Why couldn't we play like this all season?) We finished bottom of the final table, and have much work to do if we're gonna improve next season.

As a foonote, one of my players came 2nd in the K-League 2 player of the season award, another came 2nd in K2-league defender of the year, and a third was the third highest scorer in the division. I also had the 2nd highest scorer in the FA Cup, and 3rd in the K2-league most assists of the year
