Default Yeovil Town

Tipping is frowned upon in here GeordieDazza, never mind the fact that Yeovil can not really be classed as a LLM starting point anymore.

How about actually trying?
Did you perhaps came to the idea, that your tactics, training, selection of players etc. aren't working?
Perhaps you should try and work this out first.

Try scoring more goals than the opposition.

Failing that, try to concede less than them.

Hope it helps.

What he said. And if that doesn't work either, well... try harder.

It's good to know you don't want to cheat, but how is cheating different from asking for tips on a messageboard?

What the LLaMas are saying, in a roundabout way, is...
<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>From the Forum Header:

For managers that enjoy the challenge of bringing a lower league team to the top - without the need for tipping, cheating or bragging. <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Keep trying, LLM's definitely the most satisfying way of winning (or losing) at FM...Good Luck.

Don't forget, your current manager didn't wave a magic wand to turn Yeovil into consistent challengers.
LLM isn't about replicating what your clubs real life manager is doing. You need to develop your own style and way of doing things, and (hopefully) your hard work and ideas will start to reap dividends.

Yeovil Town...one of my favourite teams in a way. When I first tried LLM, I stuck my nose into the English Conference (because it was the standard for people), and picked Yeovil randomly. Got sacked after half a season. Tried again. Got sacked after 4 months. Tried again. Got sacked again. I can't tell how often I tried, but my wife called me crazy because I didn't give up. In the end, and after many tries, I made it up to the Premiership. Stupid me then jumped ship to Div3 Sheffield Wednesday, and I really should get whapped for that

How about managing a LLM team? League Two isn't LLM now there is Conference North & South to delve into.

The leagues in England were rebranded, so Div 1 is the Championship, Div 2 League One and Div 3 League Two.
