quote:
How can a true llama manage BPA and Chelsea at the same time??

Anyway, in my second season as BPA manager, as player revolts ruined my season, plus some dodgy signings, I only managed 16th - least I stayed up. Roll on 2006/07!!

Maybe so, although the 2 careers don't overlap in any way after that fixture.

I'm also struggling with a player revolt after I downgraded a few squad statuses.

One thing though - there are so many threads saying scouting is useless in FM2005. I sent out my scouts to seek out non-entities who'd come to me on trial and in the pre-season my 2 scoputs unearthed close to a hundred. I had about 40 on trial and signed up enough to give me cover for every position. True they're just about all ***** but yoiu'd expect that.

So, I've just won my first game and hauled myself out of the relegation zone! Hope the revolting peasants cheer up now!

Sorry, didn't mean to seem arrogant its just that many (including me) don't see LLM as a light switch that is on or off - don't see how you can do both at once.

You're not playing the new llm version are you?

Anyway, after drawing so many games in 05/06 I decided I needed to (and could afford to) either improve the defence or the attack. I opted for the former and watched BPA be crowned 2007 Conf. North champions.

So I begin the new season in the National though I am seriously tempted to apply for the Guiseley job, who have just been promoted into the Conf. North.

Woah Woah Woah Woah Woah!

Andy, are you playing as a manager of two teams at once? That is absolutely not on and is not ethical in the slightest, due to the complete unrealism of it. International job and a club job maybe, but not two domestic clubs.

I'm not, no. And I'm not claiming to be playing as a Llama in this game; My first post concerned the demo game when I was and I just updated my news from taking BPA on once again. In fact I don't think I'm going to last as manager for long as I've signed too many muppets and a players' revolt has sent everything into a downward spiral!

When I'm done my next campaign will be as a strict Llama and possibly with careerist aspirations but we'll see. I'm basically killing time waiting for the patch.

Does anyone know when the patch is coming out? I haven't got FM yet, however I'd like to know is it worth waiting for the patch? If I started a long term LLM game now would it be okay? I heard the playoff final doesn't work or something.

From what I've heard, it's in beta testing right now. Maybe it's out this week?

Well in that case Andy, if you are not playing the game as a LLMer we don't want to hear about it. You don't see me posting about my West Ham test game or Ian's Liverpool (:mad) game.
