Something I've noticed through the CM series.. and now in FM. The Assistant Manager and coaches.. and the scouts... don't know a good player if they called Shrek!!! My assistant told me the player I signed would not be worthwhile... my scouts said he weren't worth it... The team report said that he was the weakest player in midfield once i signed him... 3 games later he's a legend... Best midfielder... goal on his debut... Hmmm... I would sack the whole lot but compensation would bankrupt me!! Grrr... Do you trust you backroom staff??? Even if you brought them in personally?
a.) no player naming
b.) your staff sucks of course, or why else have they joined your club, and not one in the top division?
c.) never trust them but listen to their opinions.

Can't say I've ever really trusted my staff. If I can't decide between two players I occassional see what they think but every game I seem to have one player that nobody rates that is a legend. Thus normally I make the decision as I'm the man in charge.
However I think the staff seem to be getting more accurate.
The scouts statements get worse as the game goes on. If you get to the Football League, they only ever recommend players who are completely outside of your wage range. I believe they are trying to find you players of the same standard that all other clubs in your division have, ignoring your clubs reputation and budget.

Oh but I do.. my current game is with my local Stevenage Boro. I have always played LLM to about 95% of the rules in here...
I do have to watch what I say in here though I mean no harm by what i say. Also the second post I left, I'm not sure what was edited and apologies for having to have it edited.
