Hi folks,
Just started my first go at playing 03/04 the "proper" way tonight with Stevenage.
I've got all leagues from England, Scotland, Italy, Spain, Germany, France amd Holland running and I can't wait till September for the transfer window to close 'cos the game is running super-slow.
I have played the game in "No-holds-barred" mode before, but I'm gonna stick religiously to proper Llama rules, SWYCT etc, start with a basic tactic and tweak it as i go.
Try to keep you all updated with my progress (or abject failure), can't wait to find out if I am areally crap manager!.

Thanks for the welcome iajafer.
Can I ask the inevitable scouting question?
Would it be considered to be within the spirit of llama if I were to assing a scout to the Scottish division 3 to compile a list of players, then ask my scouts to assess any of those players i feel i might be interested in signing?

Sounds fine to me. Remember, what we have in place are just guidelines that some of us use in order to make the game more realistic. If you don't agree with any of them, you don't have to follow it.

If you have any other questions playing LLM, feel free to ask. We are always happy to advise new users who make an effort with LLM and the boards on the ways of playing LLM, but we never tip or give advice on how to run your club. A good example was your question asking about scouting Scottish Division 3.
