Update end of season 5:

Oh crap, back to back promotions now mean I'm looking forward to Division 1 next year. Does this mean I'm gonna have to get sacked/relegated/start again or be cast from the LLAMA flock?.

Anyway, I was surprised that there did not seem to be all that much of a difference in quality between divs 3 & 2 and my league form of the previous season continued allowing us to win the division by a fairly comfortable margin over Cheltenham. Once again the LDV was treated with the contempt it deserves, but we did well in the other cups knocking out a few sides from higher divisions and helping the bank balance.
Speaking of money, at seasons end the balance was a healthy 2.5million which was invested in upgrading our training facilities and enlarging the stadium capacity.

On the playing front the only signing of the season was a Scottish D/MRC bought from Morton for 24k to stabilise the RB position. A couple of loanees filled out the squad but didn't really figure all that much, and the young home grown players continue to progress at a pleasing rate. Once again my player of the year was the ex-Southport striker who scored barrowloads and is now somewhat of a star.

Oh well, if we can survive in Div 1 I'll look to invest again in the stadium at seasons end, and I might even trust a scout to take a trip through the chunnel and see if there are any decent French kitchen fitters/amateur footballers who fancy turning pro in England!.

(YOu don't have to quit/get relegated, btw. Just keep playing the game to LLaMa guidelines and it's still a LLaMa game. We are all trying to get promoted and win trophies, it's just that some of us aren't very good at it . It's not how well or badly you do, but how you go about it that makes you a LLaMa.)
