Welcome to Llamaland, Boltman. May the bad luck be with you, caressing you with long-term injuries and shock retirements of your most important players. According to the second post rule, you are a real gem.

Thanks for all the welcomes guys!

Looks like the Llama bug has well and truly got me. I've asked my scouts to assess a player and I'm still waiting 3 weeks later for a report.
None of this "put in a bid, two days later he signs" crap from now on then!. Squad building looks like it could be a long (realistic) process.

So far so good,

Cheers!

Most likely he'll come back, having wasted his budget in pubs, reporting only the guys who drank with him.

...who will have persuaded your scout that they are world-beating players, you'll blow your wage budget on them only to find that they are all carp.... such is the life of a llama

You are discriminating against carps. Trouts aren't better either.

Ok, whatever pub my scout is in the opening hours are rediculous!. It's now been nearly 2 months and still no report.

Fume!

Call your scout to check up on him. Tell him to lay off the booze for a while, and get his junior out of that VIP "streetsalewoman"

I sent a man across the ocean to scout Norway, he came back with ripped up clothes, no money and no reports. I guess he never left the pub...

Welcome to the LLaMa boat
I got in myself not too long ago, and now find myself checking the net for real-life results of my dear Lambs, and trying to pursuade other people to jump ship. Not many do though.

More than you may think.... I've been to see Tamworth twice this season, and I'm sure Nobby McDonald posted somewhere that he's been to watch fairly recently aswell.

With jump ship, I meant to go over to managing clubs the LLaMa way. It didn't get across very well I guess.

Would be cool to see them, but then I need to win the lottery or something lol. I see they have gotten a decent start to the season though. Mark Cooper said he would be happy if they copied last season's 17th place. Think they were 19th last time I checked. Hope they make it

This went way offtopic...

Don't player name!
They're a decent side, and will stay up without too much fuss I think, but I doubt they are ready to hit the lofty heights IRL that you managed to take them to
