We had a director of Redbridge posted here a few months back and IIRC he said some players from 'minor nations' come on study visas and play for the likes of Redbridge while doing their degrees.

SORRY I was not meaning to cause offence. This was not a dig at players for minor nations or foreign players and as Ian said a 'very tounge in cheek comment.'

Just a comment regarding lower league teams scouting far a field or picking up players in strange ways (remembering a ex southampton boss signing the brother of the world player of the year, and a wycombe plyer signed because he saw they needed player of telletext or the internet.....the list goes on.)

I have a good understanding of how and why players travel the globe and in the case of my player from Turks and Caicos I think that his arival in Germany may be due to the posting of US service men and women (that is if his family moved to the US) out there, but thats just a guess

and Tupoar please don't judge my level of intelligene or Ignorance on the strength of one post.
