Tons of greyed out players in Brazilian LL. I'm not sure any side has a full squad even with huge db.

Haven't noticed anything suspicious yet in England. Played a couple of friendlies with non-league clubs, they had at least 15 "real" players. Huge db size being used btw.

I'm just running England, with huge db on, and I've found no problems with teams in the leagues directly below Conf N/S, but clubs in leagues below that only have a few players active.
Much of this data is inaccurate / outdated I find, but my scout has found a surprisingly high number of freebies. Pity my wage budget has been reached, and that these freebies are as bad as my exceptionally poor squad.

Which is to be expected, LWF. A scout probably would find a lot of dross in his search for a few good players.

I have also set the DB to "huge" and am experiencing no performance problems. Running all English and Scottish leagues in my save.

I did, then started again on Large. It seemed to be OK at first but I soon found that my Scouts were going months without finding a player.
Large DB seems OK though no physios want to apply for the vacancy at my club (I like to have two).
There is some issue with scouting for players with a value at most £0. I now put in £1000, this makes a great difference with quite a few unattached players being found. I think this has been addressed in the upcoming patch.

I agree. With a large database the amount of players released by the clubs after the first season was actually so insanely high that the market was swamped with freebies. I wonder how that would look like with a huge database.

My scout didn't find that many in Portugal, using a huge DB I've also had an ad for a second scout running for over a year now, and not one person has responded to it.

Having said that, my one scout has found a steady trickle of freebies throughout the season. I think the fact that contracts in Portugal (based on my in game experience) tend not to be so rigid in ending June 30th as in England has something to do with it, and also that a lot of players seem to ask for shorter (1 year) contracts.

I think this problem persists with smaller countries.
