Probably only that I wouldn't manage someone like Liverpool or Leeds, but as I always play as small clubs that wouldn't affect me anyway really.

Similar situation with players, I've never found that real life players I can't stand would be in the position to be signed up by my club anyway.

I always play without biases. Sometimes I even end up finding that some certain team not only loves to buy my players but that I end up signing some of their players as well, even though I dislike that team in real. And on other occasions a team might become my major enemy for snapping up my best striker on the minimum fee, although I support that team usually. It's just a game after all, and it's nice that it's always different.

I like to play and beat Swansea in a preseason friendly as often as practicable.

I'll never play in Mexico or scout Mexico. But I reckon that's obvious.

I do have some:

When playing in Brazil, I like to sign players from my state, even if I'm not playing in a gaúcho team.

In England, I tend to go to clubs located nearer Manchester, just because of a (probably stupid) thought that being nearer them, Man City might get more interested in me in a far future...

I also am not very fond of signing players of different language, except when they seem very good to let something like this implode my career.

I always ''cheer'' my favourite team(s) while they are not a threat to my performances, but as soon they become rivals, I won't give them presents.

I don't know anything about the lower leagues, so all the players are unknown to me. No teams I dislike untill they start beating me time and time again. I put Man Utd as my fave team. Always has, always will, never managed them in a LLM game though. Not done good enough.

I normally won't sign players from Leeds, City, Arsenal or Pool. It has happened though, one of my strikers in Tamworth were from liverpool's youth academy. I tried to get a defender from Arsenal's, but he rejected.

In my saves I have an extra eye for how United do. I check out the EPL table from time to time, and how they do in Europe. Pretty cool they have won two trebles in my current game

Straying off-topic, again. Only played a few months on the FM beta, and Arsenal seems to be very good, and the game pretty hard tacticwise. At first I thought it wasn't too good that it was hard to beat anyone as United, but now I really look forward to the challenge of the lower leagues. It's been way too easy to surf through the leagues in 03/04, this will hopefully be better for FM05

PS: Defensive stupidity have been tuned for the Gold, am interested to see how that works out.

Hopefully, as you're on the LLM forum you mean Welling United

I would say my only bias was towards the English leagues themselves, and maybe Nodnol ll teams. Redbridge and the like, for obvious reasons.

I have a practical bias against signing English players because they all earn much money than they're worth paying.
