I've just started my first season with Bath City and have brought in a few new guys to fill in some very visible gaps in the team (namely goal and midfield). The problem is they're all Australians with dual nationalities. Now under the guidelines I shouldn't do this but I figured that as my manager is Australian himself he would have a fairly good idea of the talent over there and would be able to bring a few players with him when he changed hemispheres.

What are other peoples thoughts on this?

Meh, it's a generous leap of the imagination to believe bringing a bevy of Aussies halfway around the world to play for, basically, a **** team in a boring town.
Realistic? Err, no.

Hi!

New players should be found by your scout, then based on their reports and recommendations you make you signings. You can't use the players search screen, or just trawl through club squads signing random players.

Is it realistic that a bunch of Aussies turn up at Bath City? No.

As the other poofs have said use your scouts & sign the best players they can find.

Don't listen to these miseries. If you are Australian, then you could use contacts back home to get a couple in on trial, but you shouldn't just sign 'em without checking them out first.

I'm a Scot, I always play as a Scot, and I make sure that I try to get Scottish Staff and players as soon as is reasonably practicable.
