Oi, I resemble that remark.

Fair point on the trials, though. God knows I trial enough useless sacks of arse-pellets to acknowledge their use. I'm still dubious about whether it's realistic to sign them as part-timers unless you can offer attractive wages, mind you.

Aw hell now I don't know where I stand :s I admit that to get players to fly all the way from Australia to play no league football is a bit of a stretch (apart from my keeper who'd been released by Sutton Utd.). On the other hand the other guys I signed hadn't played a game of competitive football in their life (Bath is their first club) so there's nothing to say they weren't already in England playing for Team Walkabout or something

I reckon I'll let you people argue it out and start a second save to compare and contrast.

Oh and I always get guys on trial before signing them and it just so happened out of the guys I had on trial the Aussies stood out

(Sorry for the double post, apparently I'm not allowed to edit my own post)

The difference is though Michal... would they move to England for a part time contract?
I'd understand if he was a professional team, and fair enough if he has become one - they'd come over if offered a good wage. If he's still semi-pro though, I don't see them coming over.
