Currently in my fifth year with Burghausen. I've sold out the season tickets for the first time and I have asked the board to expand the low 12200 capacity of the stadium. They agree, but the local blocked it. Now some people say that the board may agree to build a new stadium. When and if that does happen, how much should I expect to save up, 10 million? 35 million, over 100 million? anyone know?

you wont need to save up.The board will take out a loan to build the stadium

which i have to repay....great...because i had to repay the loan the first had when i first got to the club...now they're debt free and 10 million in the positive

A new (bigger) stadia will pay off any debts in about 5 or 6 seasons. The size of the new stadium won't be massive to start, (due to your current size, i would guess between 19,000 and 25,000 new capacity) but it will have the ability to grow to massive amounts. My current "new stadium" will take 2 years to build. but its only 5000 seats

the board said that to me on the last game that they would expand the stadium only for the local council to block it. then the next season they planned a new ground that could hold over 40,000 called davis park after one of the clubs favorite servants

I have the same problem with the German team I manage ST Pauli, The club is worth 19 mill but the local council keep blocking my attempts to expand the stadium. Surely the game must let you build a new stadium especially since I just been promoted to the div 1!
