Hi.
Is there a way to increase the staff wages?
Im playing as Milan, and it seems capped at £14,750 for assistant managers, which is no good for me, as my assistant manager is pretty good and i want to keep him, but he wants £19k.

Ideas?

You would have to request an increase in the entire wage structure of the club, unfortunately. You can't ask for a specific exception, or just to increase the wage structure of staff. You also can't ask to hire more staff than the recommended number. Two things i wish were in the game.

How would i make that request in the first place?
IIRC, thats not actually in the game as an option?

You can hire more coaches and scouts than the recommended no problem, there is a limit though.
IIRC 5 more coaches is normal and I'm sure there's at least 3 scouts. Keep hiring until the board blocks it.

As for BoomAM, looks like he's off, there's nothing you can do except make sure you use his filtering abilities to find a new one then sack him. Don't wait until the end of the season, there's normally a few tasty staff on the go for nothing in april/may.

My current assistant manger is arguably the best in my game, i doubt i'd get one to match him. .

Pretty impressive stats i'd say.
I'd perhaps find another with just as good/equal stats, but not on a maximum limit of 14,750 for wages. .

from my experiences, i've managed to hire 5 more coaches than recommended, at Juve, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Lewes FC (BSS), soundian is correct.

however, teams with more than 1 ass-man like milan cannot replace them with other ass-mans, and if you want more than 1 the board always block the move.

i wait until the player/staff member has just one week remaining of their contract. usually, their initial demands decrease to a more reasonable wage. as long as they are not offered a contract by another club.
