OK, so here goes: I managed Reggiana for 6 and a half seasons, getting them to Serie A in the last year. Got a job offer from struggling AC Milan, 7th in the league, last 2 awful seasons.
Great, I take the job half-way through the season, and win both Serie A and the Italian Cup. On to next year...
Win Serie A with 6 matches to go, I'm in the semi-finals of the Champions League and Italian Cup...and the board are really thinking about replacements????
In board confidence it says: " The board are concerned that the team only qualified for the EURO Cup through participation in the Serie A last season. They have strongly urged you to start progressing towards the long term targets set."
Now how the hell is this possible?
Does the game think that I'm still the old manager that was dissmissed one and a half years ago????
there are plenty of threads on confidence issues. i mentioned in another forum, i was top for most of the season in my 2nd year, and the board were listing replacements before the season finished, yet they were begging me not to leave after i won the league, despite refusing to offer a new contract when i asked for it.
Not offered extension???????
