am trying to create my own player ive searched with the wee dog i found data editor but it says i cant open any files am i in the ryt place

Are you on about the editor that comes with the game?

If so, then once its open click on file then load database. Select the database you want to edit and click on ok. Then on the top menubar there is a button called edit with a drop down menu, click on create person from there.

Once finished creating player it would be best to save the database with a new name.

Should be under the file menu once you've opened up the editor
