Why i will be keeping quite and respond "no comment" everytime an official makes a howler!
My assistant is pretty good, but at the end of the day, his tactics are different to me and when i feild my time after being touchline banned, he subs 3 players to alter to his tactics and plays player out of positon to get his tactic, it just doesnt work!

Does anyone know if there is any advantage to being right?
I suppose IRL if you complained about a dodgy penalty/offside against a rival or in a vital match and were proved right then the fans would warm to you a little but does this happen in FM?
Personally I'd like to get rid of it because it seems that saying nothing is by far the best option and that makes it a nothing feature.

I too have appealed against decisions several times.
If you get it wrong, you get a warning or a fine. Then a ban.
But if you get it right,it just says the f.a. have gone quiet.
It's something which needs sorting out.
But i also have to say that irl if you're also right, the f.a. don't do anything either.
Although you may get a phone call from Keith Hackett apologising!

An easy way to see if the Referee made a mistake on red cards/ penalties is to check his rating. if its 6 for your match then he made a mistake. sometimes 7 aswell.

I get your point. When you complain about the official and you're deemed wrong, the ban is very frustrating.
On the other hand, when you're right the FA just goes quiet - there doesn't appear to be an advantage at all in complaining.
This has been the same for the last 2 games. It's annoying. Why include a feature that can benefit the AI, but in no way possible benefit the Human Manager, and if anything, just hinders the game.
I think Media is the place SI need an overhaul.
I usually ignore EVERY media comment. About anything. I never respond, and i never get problems because of it.

Well in cm01/02 and others complaining justifiably meant that "they would watch the referees actions more closely" or something along those lines, which you can only assume the referee will make less errors in future. So you could say its possibly still has the same effect, although the FA never actually admit they are wrong now.
